Donate to promote Dance and Music with Mandala Arts
As performers and creators, Mandala Arts highlight the passionate artists that sustain South Asian arts and culture. Mandala Arts teachers and mentors honor a centuries-old tradition. We recognize the need to create new history. This keeps the work relevant for our students. The artists maintain a connection to the elders of our community through free class. A new cultural center on Devon Avenue will bring about a space for cultural gathering.
The Devon Initiative uses artistic programming to foster a sense of belonging and community within a neighborhood of unique diversity.
To provide the highest quality programs, free of cost, Mandala seeks funding to aid:
- dance, music and art instruction related costs
- space rentals
- free programming for youth & seniors
- public art installation
Support Mandala in the following ways:
$25—provide for one student (snacks, bus card for youth participants)
$50— enable one hour for free classes for youth and seniors in Devon by a Mandala instructor
$100— supports one rehearsal of local and internationally-renowned South Asian performers
$250— covers the cost for 10 students (artistic supplies shoes, socks, bags, water bottle, gas cards, grocery cards, etc.)
