Mandala’s Principal Artist Ashwaty Chennat and select ensemble members will present an excerpt from a new work to Ivan Stravinsky’s masterwork “The Firebird.” This is a preview of the full piece we will perform at Symphony Center with Chicago Sinfonietta in celebration of Diwali.

This fall, Mandala has an unprecedented opportunity to reach new audiences and showcase our contemporary approach to the traditions we value so much. Chicago Sinfonietta is renowned for its artistic excellence and commitment to diversity—in its personnel and its repertoire.
