Mandala Academy‘s Beginner II dance class deepens understanding for students of Bharatanatyam. Students explore technique, choreography, and musical understanding. Students also become familiar with South Asian folk tales and mythology, and create characters through gesture and physicality. Through our supportive classroom environment, students build a loving community and cultural confidence.

This class runs from January 3rd through May 16th. All students are encouraged to perform and prepare for Mandala’s annual Academy Showcase on May 23rd.
