DESCRIPTION:This is a Bharatanatyam class for all levels: blank slate to post graduates. \nMaster Teaching Artist\, Pranita Nayar\, instructs a technique-focused studio class\, refining the movement and quality of dancers. From body positioning to nuanced eye movements\, dancers can strengthen form at their own pace. \nPranita trained with acclaimed dance artist Sonal Mansingh in New Delhi\, and has since delivered Bharatanatyam culture to generations of artists in the Chicagoland area. \nThis is a drop-in class and offers plenty of performance opportunities for dancers!

DESCRIPTION:The Art of Storytelling. Using our eyes\, mouths\, hands\, and entire bodies\, we tell stories of love\, anger and loss. This singular component of Bharatanatyam will be studied within a modern context\, and will be lead by master artist and teacher Pranita (Jain) Nayar. \nFor new dancers and arangetram graduates alike\, this class aims to keep progressing technique through strength building and peer to peer critique.
