Open up to a mesmerizing tradition of storytelling through miming, gestures, and rhythm: Abhinaya. Through eight stories, representing the multi-faceted “Nayika”, our heroine explores relationships, love and heartbreak.
After a year-long apprenticeship in the art of Abhinaya, Ashwaty Chennat will present a traditional one-woman dance-theatre for community members in the Devon and Chicagoland area. Master Artist Pranita Nayar is proud to present her first adult student and professional artist in a full debut.
