Mandala Academy's Intermediate class builds upon the basics of classical Indian dance. Students perfect adavus, musical structures, and begin an exploration of abhinaya and South Asian poetry. Our curriculum emphasizes performance as a tool to build teamwork, leadership, and cultural confidence.This class runs from September 7th through December 21st. All students are invited to perform and prepare for Mandala’s annual holiday spectacle “The Story of Ram” on November 3rd at the Studebaker Theatre, on Chicago’s cultural mile.
